How much of the surcharge will my business receive?

This is a rare occurrence, and is typically a result of user error; invalid PIN error, insufficient funds, or selecting the incorrect account. Customers are urged to keep their receipt, as a summary of any error will be printed on it. If the dispensed amount reads differently from the requested amount, customers should be instructed to contact their financial institution to verify the completion of the transaction on their account. If there are any discrepancies, a “Regulation E Claim” should be filed by the card holder, through their financial institution, and the transaction will be traced.
